You know sometimes we forget what great friends we have. We take them for granted that we expect them to be there when we need them.
This weekend was a great reminder of my wonderful friends. We had a huge duel birthday party and a coming home party for some friends. I'm not even sure when I had that much fun last (and I'm sure it didn't hurt that much the next morning either). It was completely worth the headache the next day, which wasn't quite as bad as I thought it might be.
I knew I loved my friends but sometimes I need a reminder about the fact that even though we don't see each other nearly as much as we would like to we are always in each others hearts. It's okay that I'm sappy since I'm a girl, the guys don't have to admit it but I know they think the same way ;)
So here's to good friends and good times. Thank you for the wonderful weekend. Happy Birthday Mike and Adam and Welcome Home Jake.

I am a college student
Image via Wikipedia
I start college for the first time ever tomorrow. I'm 27, married almost 8 years, have a 3 year old son and I'm now a college student. Woah!I'm excited and nervous just like before any first day. This one has the feel of a long exciting journey though.
I feel ready for this. I feel that I can do this. I have my hubby behind me 110% even when he a pain in the neck I know he's my biggest cheerleader.
I'm going to be a nurse. I'm going to be somebody. I'm going to go somewhere. I'm going to have a job that can support my family. I'm going to finish something I start for the first time in a long time.
I start math first tomorrow, then Friday is anatomy and physiology part 1. English and psych start on Sunday since they are online classes.
If you have one piece of advice for me going back to school what would it be? What was the mistake you made? What made it easier? I have a pretty good schedule written down to self motivate myself especially for the online courses.
What helped you get through those classes?

Master I am ready, I hope.

Sometimes you're the bug, sometimes you're the windshield
Well I think I was the bug but it's okay since I know things work out for the best, work didn't work out the way I expected and that's all I'm going to say about that right now.
I start school officially on January 20. I'm really quite excited (ask me after the first week though) and I think it's going to be good for me. I still need to get a few necessary supplies but I'm waiting on payday and hoping to scrimp up enough for the pens/pencils and paper I know I'm going to need, anything beyond that I'll wait until class starts to see what each class REALLY wants me to have.
I think I need a backpack too, it's a shame that a Harvey's Seatbelt Bag packpack isn't in the cards since that would be sweet.
